1. About CarYaar

CarYaar is a technology platform that connects car owners with verified partner workshops for car servicing, maintenance, and repair. CarYaar acts as an intermediary — we facilitate transparent service coordination, provide diagnostic tools, and enable live service tracking. The actual car service work is performed by our partner workshops.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement under Indian law to use our services. By using the platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account and Information Accuracy

When you submit a booking, diagnostic request, or any form on our platform, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information including your name, contact number, vehicle details, and location. You are responsible for updating this information if it changes. CarYaar is not liable for issues arising from inaccurate information provided by you.

4. Services and Booking

• Diagnostic reports — CarYaar generates personalised car diagnostic reports based on the vehicle information you provide. These reports are indicative and intended for informational purposes; they do not replace a physical inspection.
• Service booking — when you book a service through CarYaar, we assign a verified partner workshop based on your location, vehicle type, and service needs. Booking confirmation is subject to workshop availability.
• Estimates and pricing — service estimates shared before work begins are indicative. If additional work is required during servicing, you will be notified with a revised estimate and your approval will be obtained before proceeding.
• Live tracking — where available, CarYaar provides live photos, checkpoint updates, and transparent progress tracking during your service.

5. Payments

Payments for services are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. By making a payment you agree to the payment gateway's terms. Prices displayed are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. CarYaar may offer promotional discounts at its discretion, which may be modified or withdrawn at any time.

6. Cancellations

• You may cancel a booking before the service has commenced by contacting us at ContactUs@caryaar.com or calling +91-9867659660.
• If parts have already been procured for your service, the cost of those parts may be non-refundable.
• CarYaar reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a booking due to workshop unavailability, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will be notified promptly and offered an alternative or a full refund.

7. Refunds

Refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy. Please refer to that page for eligibility criteria, timelines, and process details.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information on the platform.
• Use the platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data.
• Scrape, reproduce, or redistribute platform content without written permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the CarYaar platform — including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and the CarYaar name and brand — is the intellectual property of CARYAAR AUTO PVT. LTD. or its licensors and is protected under Indian and international intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy, or distribute any content without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

• CarYaar acts as an intermediary platform. While we vet and onboard partner workshops carefully, the actual service work is performed by the workshop. CarYaar is not liable for defects, delays, or damages arising from workshop negligence beyond what is covered under our service guarantee and refund policy.
• CarYaar's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.
• CarYaar shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CARYAAR AUTO PVT. LTD., its directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

12. Communication Consent

By using our platform, you consent to receive communications from CarYaar via WhatsApp, SMS, phone call, and email for service coordination, updates, and promotional offers. You may opt out of promotional messages at any time by contacting us, but transactional messages related to active bookings will continue.

13. Modifications to Terms

CarYaar reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
