When is a wheel-lift enough?
When the car is a manual that rolls and the trip is inside the city, under about 10 km. Two wheels are lifted and the car rolls on the other two.
Can an automatic go on a wheel-lift?
No. Automatics, AWD cars and anything with a damaged axle go on a flatbed. Which truck comes depends on the car, and we decide that on the call.
Will a wheel-lift reach a tight lane?
Usually, yes. A wheel-lift turns where a flatbed cannot and loads the car in two minutes. Say so on the call.
What if I am not sure which truck I need?
Tell the desk the car and whether it rolls. If in doubt, the desk sends a flatbed, and the price is confirmed before the truck moves.
